WORSHIP

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
 Worship the Lord with gladness;
 come into his presence with singing!
(Psalm 100:1-2)

The foundation of our life as a church is worship. It is a time to remember and celebrate God’s transformational presence in the world and in our lives …

  • through the Word read and proclaimed,
  • through choral and instrumental music that warms the heart and stirs the soul,
  • through lively, creative liturgy that expresses the poetry of our faith,
  • through the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, in which we are marked as Christ’s own and share the Bread and Cup as a community bound together in Love.

We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 11 am in the Sanctuary, and observe the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.

There is no “dress code”! We come reverently, but we also come as we are – as God always receives us. Some of us are dressed casually, and others come in jackets and ties. Whoever you are or however you look, you are welcome here.

And to those of you who are the parents of young children – Relax! God put the wiggle in children. Don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house. The presence of children is a gift from above!
